It was a sad day.

It has become one of my favourite songs.

Even though I know you will never see this, thank you for showing me Nine Inch Nails.

I saw an ad for this game on Facebook, and it seemed interesting, so I watched the trailer. Looks pretty good, great detailed effects. Loved the slow-motion backwards thing, and it had a nice, unpleasant feel to it. I love me some zombie fiction.
Definitely looking forward to gameplay footage.

#MusicSaturday – Sick of Sarah

The other day I saw on Twitter that Clearbits had released a BitTorrent edition of Sick of Sarah‘s new album, “2205″.

I’d never heard of them, but I thought, an indie band, backed by a “real” label, releasing via BitTorrent.. Could be interesting. So I downloaded it.

I just installed Ubuntu on my laptop today, and decided to listen to the album while tinkering with settings and apps, and guess what? The album is really good, so you should go download it now.


This is one of my favourites.

If you like it, you should let them know by stalking following them on Twitter, or by posting on their Facebook wall.

Oh, and for all the feminists and perverts out there, Sick of Sarah is an all girls band, so that’s another reason you’ll like them, I guess.

Impressive, indeed..

…Because that’s not the real Jared Leto.
In fact, it’s not even a dude! Her name is Helena, she’s from Russia, and just happens to like cosplaying as Jared Leto.

Here’s how she did it:

I found this girl’s video because MachinimaETC posted it on Facebook. She’s apparently really into cosplay. In addition to her YouTube channel, ”selfOblivion“, she has a deviantART profile where she posts her cosplay and stuff.

I’m not really into cosplay, nor am I especially into Jared Leto, even though I like his music and I’ve seen him in a film or two. But this was just so awesome I had to share it. There are some people out there who are really skilled with make-up and make-up effects. Maybe I should write some more about that another time.
